Menna: Internet, PR and Design Co-ordinator
PR and Internet guru and the most helpful person ever. Her job includes running the website and PR, design projects and column writing.
Liza: Manager of Velvet Furniture Shop
Liza is the Fountain of all furniture knowledge and good at keeping everything running smoothly. Moved to Brighton from Richmond, London in 2006.
Emma: Deputy Furniture Manager
Language Graduate, really knows her stuff, excellent with customers and can speak French and Spanish.
Ashley: Supervisor
Absolutely brilliant and has worked at Velvet forever since she was 16! The building may fall down if she ever leaves!
Colette & Clarity: Supervisor & Office Manager
Colette runs a very tight ship. Possibly the bubbliest, loudest person you will ever meet - we love her! Has a degree in costume design... and sweet eating! Clarity is the most organised person in the world - don't mess up her desk! Has a degree in Psychology from Sussex University, and is qualified in sign language.
Lou: Furniture Stock Manager
Is Mrs Efficiency. She loves systems and spreadsheets. A Fine Art graduate from Jersey, she uses her creative eye around the stores.
Karen: Area Manager and Buyer
She generally runs the whole business and all the staff! And is also responsible for creating lush window displays and keeping the shops looking beautiful.
Helen: Manager of Velvet George Street
Looks after our Hove Branch of Velvet beautifully and is possibly the most reliable person ever.
Frances: Senior Furniture Sales Person
Frances has a passion for acting and theatre, which really shines through in her customer service on the shop floor.
Sam: Delivery Assistant/Photographer
Sam moved to Brighton from Tonbridge and is a welcome addition to the Velvet Team. He is responsible for our deliveries and stock quality control. We'll be making the most of Sam's photography skills for our product images and photoshoots (Sam is also Menna's boyfriend).

Nick and Emma Harrop: Co-Directors

Iris: Co-Director and Financial Wizard
Emma's Mum (part-time mum to all the other girls at Velvet!) and chocolate provider. She only speaks in numbers!
George: Delivery Manager
Emma's Dad! King of Recycling, George never fails to bring a smile to our day.
Oscar and Sammy: The Juniors
...aged 4 and 1 - a bit young but we are working on them!
Meet the Delivery Team
George:
when he's not sorting our cardboard and recycling, he's helping us deliver items between the shops
Louise:
when she's not in the middle of a stock spreadsheet, she's organising the delivery men
Alex:
when he's not helping in the stock room, he's arriving with your furniture with delivery partner Sam (Alex has just joined us after four years with the Navy!)
Sam:
when he's not taking photographs or checking the stock, he's delivering your furniture!
