Our aim is for you to find our online store as welcoming as our Brighton and Hove stores. We have carefully selected over 500 of our best selling products for you to choose from, and the website is constantly being updated with new stock. If you can't find what you are looking for do call or email as we may well be able to find it from our hundreds of suppliers!

Our two main Velvet furniture stores on Bond Street, Brighton and Church Road, Hove sell a huge range of furniture from French reproduction, white painted furniture and shabby chic styles to modern furniture, chairs and tables. There is a large range of mirrors from French ornate styles and modern, from small to very large and hundreds of different lights, ranging from modern to classic chandeliers, funky lights, lamps and shades. We also sell beautiful gifts and home accessories, from frames and wallpaper to signs and over 150 different styles of glass, ceramic and metal door knobs and hooks!

Our huge range of stock is always beautifully displayed to create a real wow factor. New stock arrives daily so our stores stay fresh and exciting with over 15,000 different product lines across the four stores and our website. Our window displays stop people in their tracks and the stores are bright, beautiful and very friendly. Velvet has an excellent reputation with customers knowing that they will always find that perfect present or something for their home.

Our team is approachable, friendly and constantly pushing the boundaries of customer service. We always offer plenty of advice and suggestions to our customers if they want it, but no pushy sales, we hate that!

Velvet is based in the North Laine area of Brighton which has the largest selection of independent retailers on the South Coast. It's a colourful, vibrant area with a cosmopolitan style and a rich mixture of people and history. Brighton is renowned for its sophisticated lifestyle, with over 350 shops, bars and restaurants and is one of the most enchanting, exciting and extraordinary seaside cities in Britain... 8 million tourists a year can't be wrong!

George Street Store: Monday to Saturday 9.30am - 5.30pm, Sunday Closed
