I don’t know about you, but from about this time of year onwards, my house definately gets busier!
On Friday night we had a lovely family get together - we made a huge bonfire, a guy fawkes, we all dressed up and enjoyed pumpkin soup I had made with my two boys earlier in the day.
Closer to Christmas I will be welcoming more friends and family into the house.
There are a few things I am going to be investing in this season.
First up is one of our beautiful doormats - to catch all the muck and leaves that inevitably gather on everyones shoes! And at just £18 it’s a credit crunch friendly way to brighten up my entrance.

Secondly I will be buying some more hooks for everyones coats! This will save the bed or sofa getting wet!

And finally, for those wintery walks along the seafront or in the countryside with our dogs, a flask is perfect for a mid-stroll sip to warm you up…
